Abuse and betrayal, within the context of religious organizations, dominate the headlines. It’s not hard to identify what “true religion” doesn’t look like.
But even as we call out counterfeit Christianity, we need to remind ourselves what Jesus Christ expects of his followers. There is no better place to picture true religion than the New Testament book of James.
Beginning September 9, Pastor Chris Brauns will teach a verse by verse series on James that will focus on how true Christian faith sustains us through suffering, guides us through conflict, and envisions authentic Christian living in everyday life.
