Our senior high teens are taking a ministry trip this June to help a church plant in Lincoln Park, MI.

We know that a trip can be life changing, but building Godly character takes a lot of hard work over a long period of time. So we believe their preparation for the trip is just as important as the trip itself. Our teens are fulfilling “Preparation Expectations” (PE) to get ready for the trip. You can see them here if you’re interested. They are memorizing verses, attending church, participating in Youth Group Ministry Projects each month, and working hard on several fundraisers.

The trip is being funded from three sources: The Red Brick Church, sponsors, and the teens themselves.
One of the fundraisers is “Rent-a-Teen.”
The teens are ‘rented’ for projects like spring cleaning, yard work, baby sitting, dog walking, painting, tutoring, background music, etc.
The sponsor then donates (tax-deductable) any amount of their choosing directly to the church for the teen’s trip.

Do you need a break? You can also sign up your kids for the Baby Sitting Fundraiser April 1 and May 6 from 6-9pm.
