One of the ministries we support at the Red Brick Church is a community food pantry and meal. On Tuesday, June 30 the Bread of Life Ministry had 85 guests that ‘shopped’ from the food pantry and 113 guests for dinner. The next distribution and meal is Tuesday, July 14, but many of the usual helpers are away on vacation.Would you consider helping July 14 from 2:30-5:00?
We are in need of the following helpers:
- 4-5 Shoppers – must be over 18 with a willingness to show God’s love while helping our guests select their items.
- 6-8 Carriers – if under 18 they must be with an adult to help carry the groceries to the guest’s car.
- 6-8 Stockers – any age. The teenagers do very well at this. They help keep the grocery racks stocked during distribution.
- We could also use help between 10am and noon that morning to set up for the afternoon session.
