Stop worrying about the bear sightings in Ogle county. Instead, mark your calendars for the AWANA family picnic on Saturday, July 26 12-3pm at the Stillman Valley Recreation Park behind Meridian Junior High.

We’re not expecting any bears that day. But we ARE expecting to have a BARREL of fun! Free grilled hot dogs, chips, drinks and popsicles will be provided. We’ll also have yard games, face painting and other fun activities planned for the day. You won’t want to miss Mr Darren at the dunk tank! Dads don’t disappoint us. Hold the mustard on the hot dog and put it on your best fast ball to make sure he goes down!
